Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of DealBlast at dealblast.app. By submitting a quote request or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What DealBlast does
DealBlast is an independent buyer-side service. When you submit a paid quote request, we email franchised car dealers located inside the geographic area you draw on the map and pass them your vehicle preferences and contact info. Dealers reply directly to your email with their written quotes.
We are not a dealer. We do not sell, lease, finance, or inventory vehicles. We do not negotiate price, set price, or guarantee that any dealer will respond, offer a particular price, have a particular vehicle in stock, or honor any quote they send.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. The service is offered in the United States.
3. The $29.95 fee
- Each quote request costs $29.95 USD, charged at the time you submit it. The fee is for the service of routing your request to dealers; it is not a deposit on any vehicle.
- The fee covers a single quote request for a single vehicle make/model in a single drawn area.
- The fee is what funds the service and keeps the dealer network responsive by deterring spam requests.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
Refund policy
We will refund the $29.95 fee, automatically or on request, if:
- Fewer than three (3) verified dealers fall inside your drawn area, so we cannot meaningfully fan out your request.
- You do not click the email verification link within 24 hours, in which case the request expires and we refund within ~7 business days.
- A technical failure on our side prevents any dealer email from being sent.
Requests that successfully fan out to three or more dealers are non-refundable, because the service is rendered at that point — whether or not the dealers choose to reply is up to them. If you have a complaint, email support@dealblast.app and we will work with you in good faith.
4. Email verification & honesty
Before any dealer is contacted, you must click a one-time verification link sent to your email. By clicking the link you confirm that:
- The contact information you provided is yours, and the vehicle and trade-in details are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You are genuinely interested in receiving quotes from local dealers for the vehicle you described.
Misrepresenting your identity or submitting fake requests is fraud against us and against the dealers we contact on your behalf. We may suspend your account, deny future requests, and pursue available legal remedies.
5. Rate limits and abuse
To protect dealers from spam, we cap quote requests per buyer: currently 5 requests per 24 hours total, and 1 request per make per 24 hours. We also cap the drawn area at roughly 50,000 square miles per request. These limits may change without notice.
6. Communications from dealers
Dealers reply directly to your email with their quotes. You may also receive follow-up messages from those dealers. DealBlast does not control what a dealer chooses to send you. If a dealer is contacting you in a way you don’t like, reply STOP to them, mark their messages as spam, or forward the message to support@dealblast.app and we will follow up with the dealer.
7. Transactional emails from us
By submitting a request you consent to receive transactional emails from us: payment receipts, verification links, dealer-match summaries, and refund notices. These are not marketing emails. We do not sell or rent your email address.
8. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for negotiating, financing, and completing any purchase with the dealer directly. DealBlast is not a party to your transaction with the dealer.
- You are responsible for verifying any dealer’s license, reputation, and the accuracy of any quote before you commit.
- You may not use DealBlast to harass dealers, send abusive content, or request quotes you have no intention of acting on.
- You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically abuse the service.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that dealers will respond, that any quote will be honored, that prices quoted are the lowest available, or that any specific vehicle is in stock. We make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DealBlast’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the request giving rise to the claim ($29.95). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including lost time, lost opportunities, transportation, or the difference between any quote you received and the price you ultimately paid for a vehicle.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DealBlast harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any dealer contacted on your behalf.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for any reason, including suspected abuse. You may stop using the service at any time; you may also email us to delete your account, subject to legal retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, unless applicable law mandates otherwise. You and DealBlast each waive the right to a jury trial in any such dispute.
